Information on the Georgian Ambassador's participation in the Roundtable Discussion held in Wellington

On 7 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to New Zealand (with residence in Canberra) participated in the Roundtable Discussion on "National Interest, Sovereignty and Imperilled International Rules-Based Order - Reflections from Georgia", hosted by New Zealand Institute of International Affairs (NZIIA) - Wellington Branch at Rutherford House, Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington.

 NZIIA members, academia and students were in attendance.

Against the backdrop of current geopolitical changes and pressures, Ambassador Dvali spoke on Georgia, domestic and foreign policy, lessons learned in the course of projecting national interests, on the achievements and remaining challenges.
