Information on Ambassador’s visit to Hobart, Tasmania

During 18-19 February 2025, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia, while on a working visit to Hobart, Tasmania, held  introductory meetings with: Ms. Kim Boyer and Mr. Steven Phipps from Tasmania Branch of Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA); Dr Matt Killingsworth, MPub&IntLaw, PhD, Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Coordinator of Bachelor of Justice Studies, School of Social Sciences, University of Tasmania; Ms. Eloise Carr, Director, Australia Institute’s Tasmania Branch.

During the meetings, Ambassador Dvali reflected on Georgia, its domestic and foreign policy priorities, economic policies, current state of relations with Australia and cooperation prospects.
