INFORMATION ON GEORGIAN AMBASSADOR’S MEETING WITH THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE INDEPENDENT STATE OF SAMOA

On 16 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Independent State of Samoa (with residence in Canberra), after presenting the letters of credence to His Highness Afioga TuimalealiifanoVaaletoa Sualvauvi II, the Head of State of the Independent State of Samoa, paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Fiame Naomi Mataafa, Prime Minister of the Independent State of Samoa.

Various issues related to the deepening of Georgia-Samoa cooperation in bilateral as well as multilateral formats where touched upon during the meeting.

The Honourable Prime Minister Mataafa reiterated Samoa's unwavering support and solidarity on international fora to Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Earlier, Ambassador Dvali also held a meeting with Afioga Mrs. Peseta Noumea Simi, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Independent State of Samoa, presenting her the copies of the letters of credence.
