Information regarding Australian Saperavi Producers' 3rd Symposium, held in Stanthorpe, Queensland

On 6 September 2024, Australian Saperavi Producers' 3rd Symposium was held in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia addressed the participants of the Symposium reflecting on Georgia and its winemaking traditions.

Queensland Parliament Member Honourable James Lister MP and Downs Regional Council Mayor Honourable Melissa Hamilton also were in attendance.

In the course of the proceedings of the day, Ambassador Dvali passed on Diplomas to Saperavi Producing Australian wineries, which won Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals at 2024 Saperavi International Competition.

On 7 September 2024, the Symposium was accompanied by public wine-tasting of Saperavi wines produced by Australian wineries.
