Information on Georgia related seminar at the University of Melbourne

On 9 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia attended online the Ancient World Seminar at the University of Melbourne and featuring lecture by scholar Abby Robinson on “Archaeological Survey in the borderlands of SW Georgia”. Georgia-Australia investigations in Archaeology (GAIA) project representatives extended the invitation to Ambassador to attend this Georgia-related seminar.

 

It should be emphasized that in Australia, specifically at the University of Melbourne, in the context of GAIA project, Georgia-related research is on the rise in terms of numbers as well as scale.
