Information on the meeting of Ambassador Dvali with Hon Andrew Hastie MP

On 13 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia held a meeting with the Honourable Andrew Hastie, MP, Federal Member for Canning (Western Australia) from Liberal Party and Shadow Minister for Defence. Ambassador Dvali expressed gratitude to the Honourable Hastie for joining Georgia Friendship Group at the Parliament of Australia. Ambassador briefed the Australian Member of parliament on the foreign policy priorities of Georgia. His Excellency made a special emphasis on the challenges related continued Russian illegal occupation of the territorial entities of Georgia – Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region.
