Information on the visit to the Embassy of Georgia in Canberra of young women leaders representing "Girls Run the World"

On 17 October 2023, the Embassy of Georgia in the Commonwealth of Australia hosted Australian students Ms. Arkie Addison and Ms. Erin Hayes, representing a Canberra-based Australian non-profit organization “Girls Run the World”. The organisation helps young women leaders gain access to the diplomatic community and learn more about the world of politics and diplomacy.

 

During the visit to the Embassy of Georgia, the Australian students had the opportunity of interacting with Ambassador Beka Dvali and spouse Nino Lezhava  as well as the Embassy staff, learning about Georgia, its history, foreign policy goals and challenges.

 

Ms. Addison and Ms. Hayes also shared with the Embassy their own research and insights on various topics related to Georgia.
