Information on Georgian Ambassador’s attendance to 20 July 2024 Australia-Georgia rugby test match and respective official program

On 20 July 2024, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Commonwealth of Australia, upon invitation from Australia Rugby, as a special guest, attended rugby test match between Australian and Georgian national rugby teams as well as official program that preceded the match.

 

It is notable that Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Rugby Mr. Tornike Gogebashvili as well as Deputy Minister for Culture and Sport of Georgia Mr. Koba Khubunaia also attended the abovementioned formal program as part of Georgian representation.

 

During the abovementioned event, Ambassador Dvali had the opportunity to meet and converse with Rugby Australia President Joe Roff and other attending officials and special guests.

 

On the margins, Ambassador also attended Georgian wine-tasting at Allianz Stadium to promote Georgian wine among guests of Australia Rugby that was organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Australia and supported by a Sydney-based company “Tamada” (  www.tamada.com.au  ).
