INFORMATION ON THE PRESENTATION OF THE LETTERS OF CREDENCE BY THE AMBASSADOR OF GEORGIA TO THE GOVERNOR GENERAL OF SOLOMON ISLANDS
On 9 April 2025, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Solomon Islands (with residence in Canberra, Australia) presented the letters of credence to His Excellency Sir David Tiva Kapu GCMG, the Governor General of Solomon Islands.
During the interaction, Ambassador and the Governor General emphasized the readiness to further develop friendly relations and close cooperation between the two Nations in mutually interesting spheres, be it bilateral or multilateral formats.
Governor General of Solomon Islands underlined that the relations between Solomon Islands and Georgia since its inception have been grounded in the principles of international law, including respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity. Sir David Kapu also expressed confidence that the partnership between the two nations would continue to grow, underpinned by mutual respect and shared interests.
