INFORMATION ON GEORGIAN AMBASSADOR’S MEETING WITH THE SOLOMON ISLANDS PRIME MINISTER
On 9 April 2025, H.E. Mr Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to Solomon Islands (with residence in Canberra, Australia), during his first visit to the Capital of Solomon Islands Honiara, paid a courtesy call on Honourable Jeremiah Manele, Prime Minister of Solomon Islands.
Various issues of cooperation in bilateral as well as multilateral formats between Georgia and Solomon Islands were discussed during the meeting.
Prime Minister Manele assured Ambassador of Georgia that Solomon Islands will continue its principled stance on international matters concerning support of Georgia’s territorial integrity.
In Honiara, Ambassador Dvali also had a curtesy call on other high level representative of the Government of Solomon Islands, in particular, His Excellency met Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Minister of Commerce, Industry, labour and Immigration Honourable Harry Kuma, Minister of Culture and Tourism Honourable Choilin Yim Douglas, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Mr. Bunyan Sivoro and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education Dr. Franco Rodie.
