Georgia congratulates the Republic of Fiji on the occasion of the Independence Day!
On 10 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Fiji (with residence in Canberra), on the occasion of the Independence day of the Republic of Fiji, made the following comment:
“I extend my wholehearted congratulations to the Republic of Fiji, its Government and the people of Fiji on the occasion of the Independence Day. I wish to Fiji prosperity and advances, and for us – Georgia – I wish ever more strengthened bilateral relations with Fiji in the years to come. I consider it as a great honour to represent Georgia to Fiji as a non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia. I shall spare no efforts to make my continued contributions to the deepening further of our bilateral ties.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili in her congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Fiji His Excellency Ratu Williame Maivalili Katonivere, expressed hope that we will take a number of important steps to strengthen the friendly relations between our countries.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in his congratulatory letter addressed to the Honourable Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka, Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji, emphasized that our countries share amicable relations built upon mutual trust and respect. Prime Minister expressed confidence that through joint efforts, Georgia and Fiji will further strengthen these bonds and enhance cooperation across various areas of mutual interest, ultimately benefitting our Nations.”
