Information on the presentation of the letters of credence by the Ambassador of Georgia to the President of the Republic of Vanuatu

On 14 May 2024, in Port Vila - the capital of the Republic of Vanuatu, H.E. Mr. Beka Dvali, Ambassador of Georgia to Vanuatu (with residence in Canberra) presented the letters of credence to His Excellency Nikenike Vurobaravu, President of the Republic of Vanuatu.

 

Ambassador Dvali also held meetings with the Honourable Matai Seremaiah Nawalu, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade of the Republic of Vanuatu as well as with Mr. Kalfau Kaloris, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade of the Republic of Vanuatu.

 

During the meetings, it was underlined that both Georgia and Vanuatu are committed to developing further coopperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, based on the UN Charter and the principles and norms of international law, including respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
