Relations Between Georgia and the Commonwealth of Australia

Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Commonwealth of Australia were established on July 16, 1992.

November 16, 2010 - Visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Alexander Nalbandov in the frames of the first round of bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Australia;

September 1-4, 2011 - Working visit of the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Mr. David Bakradze;

October 5-6, 2011 - Working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Grigol Vashadze.

Bilateral Political consultations:

1st round of the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries was held on November 16, 2010 in Canberra, Australia;

2nd round of the political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries was held on October 7, 2013 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
