Relations Between Georgia and New Zealand

Diplomatic relations between Georgia and New Zealand were established on March 11, 1992.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to New Zealand:

H.E. Mr. Vladimer Konstantinidi (from February 2013, with the residence in Canberra).

New Zealand conducts the Diplomatic Relations with Georgia from Ankara, Turkey. Ambassador of New Zealand H.E. Mr. Jonathan Andrew Curr.

November 22, 2010 - Visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Alexander Nalbandov in the frames of the first round of bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and New Zealand;

September 4-8, 2011 - Working visit of the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Mr. David Bakradze;

September 28-30, 2011 - Working visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Grigol Vashadze;

September 29-October 1, 2011 - Visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Nika Gilauri.
